Production Description
Self-adhesive fiberglass mesh tape(also called drywall joint tape) is made of fiberglass mesh that is coated with adhesive latex. It’s the most ideal material for cracks repairing on the drywall, and joints strengthening on the ceilings, gypsum boards, ect. Comparing to the paper tape which is widely used on the market, its much easier to use, no bubbles or blisters, and can be applied directly to the wall surface without pre-embedding required. Its tensile strength is up to 600N/50mm which is much stronger than paper tape. Furthermore, it’s mom-organic,mold-resistant,long durability, which prevents the possible break that happens to paper tape after 3-5years.

How to use
Step 1: If the gap is bigger than 5 mm, it’s better to fill in the gap with compound before applying the tape. There are a lot of ready-to use and all purpose compound on the market, but quick-dry type is strongly recommended, otherwise it delays the project.
Step 2: Cover the gap or cracks with drywall tape and make sure it’s fully covered, then cut off the tape.
Step 3: If the project is big, it’s recommended to use a tape gun which is much easier and faster to use with auto-cut.
Step 4: Make sure every seam is completed covered by self-adhesive tape, and apply a layer of compound to the surface and make sure the tape is fully covered.
Step 5: put the remaining tape into sealing bag to prevent drying out and prepare for future use.
